Submissions
We love featuring the work of new and emerging writers and artists in print and online alongside that of the world’s best. Before submitting your work, please carefully read our submission guidelines below. Due to the huge amount of submissions, if the guidelines are not followed your submission will not be accepted. Please note that due to the awesomely overwhelming volume of submissions, we are unable to provide individual feedback, and our responses will probably be delayed. Thanks for your understanding and patience.





Written Submissions – Please send to Andy
Are you a budding writer? Or an award-winning author? Great! Send me an email. We’re always on the look out for new writers to help tell our stories. If you have an idea for a story, know an artist / photographer / person with a great story, we’d love to read about it. Please note due to the huge amount of submissions we are unable to provide individual feedback and responses may be delayed.

Include subject line: Written Submission, your name, whether you are submitting for print or online and:

– A short bio introducing yourself and your writing experience
– Examples of any recently published works (pdf/ word docs)
– 100-word synopsis of submission
– Your written submission (max. 1500 words)

Photographic Submissions – Please send to Tom
Include subject line: Photo Submission, your name, whether you are submitting for print or online and:

– A short bio introducing yourself and your photography
– 100-word max explanation of your submission
– Photo series with each image prepared as: Jpeg, 72dpi, 2000pxls wide, RGB or Grayscale
– Please make sure you submit a series/ collection of work not singular photos

Include subject line: Art Submission, your name, whether you are submitting for print or online and:

Now is an ongoing photographic series featuring fascinating work by and of our favourite photographers. Models, singers, friends, strangers, and others in between—NOW showcases the lives of creative people from around the world.

To be considered for inclusion in this series, please include the below in an email to: tbatrouney@papersea.com.au

On The Road
Show us your road trips! We want to see where you’re exploring on your weekend trips. From coastal road missions to bush walks and camp outs, we want to see where you go to get away, who you go with and how you get there.

We want to see the best live music or album/ song through your camera, iPhone and eyeballs. Show us what’s good in music and introduce us to a band we should know about.
