Shae Detar is an American photographer who fell out of love with creativity in her pursuit of acting. Her acting coach observed her difficulties in mastering Shakespeare and told her if she couldn’t handle The Bard, she wouldn’t amount to anything decent. Her confidence shattered, it was years before Shae found the courage to reconnect with creativity. Shae’s husband encouraged her to pursue her talent for photography and she hasn’t looked back since.As soon as she painted on her initial print, she uncovered a latent passion for artistic expression. Since then, the self-taught, full-time American artist has had both her commercial photographs and painted prints published in various publications including PSQ15 – on sale now. In only the previous two years, her artwork has been exhibited in galleries from New York to London, France, Miami, and an upcoming show in Germany.
